Welcome back to our Discovery & Learning series! 🌍✨
Welcome back to our Discovery & Learning series! 🌍✨
Many of you loved our earlier post about space exploration — so today we continue the journey! We’re going back to one of humanity’s greatest moments: the first time we walked on the Moon.
This lesson combines history, inspiration, and practical English — perfect for reading, vocabulary building, and conversation practice. As always, we learn through stories that matter. 💛
📖 READING — The Giant Leap
On July 20, 1969, history changed forever. Apollo 11 landed on the surface of the Moon. For the first time, human beings walked on another world.
Neil Armstrong stepped down from the spacecraft and spoke the famous words:
"That’s one small step for [a] man, one giant leap for mankind."
He was joined by Buzz Aldrin. Together they explored the surface, collected rocks, and planted the American flag. Michael Collins waited in orbit above them. They stayed for about two and a half hours before returning safely to Earth.
This mission showed the world what people can achieve when they work together, dream big, and never give up.
